Yeah, humor me once again...
Most cosplays may not necessary need make-up, but think of it as a bonus which help enhance certain features or so.
But beforehand, I admit I'm no make-up expert so I can't dish out excellent tips here. Therefore, I'm asking the other cosmetic experts to come in and share your professionalism! Heck, even if you are not a pro, but you got something to share, just post!
Stuff You Can Discuss/Share In Here:
1. Recommendations of cosmetic brands. Example, XXX Liquid Foundation is good for those with sensitive skin or ABC eyeliner is dark and does not run easily, excellent for Visual Kei Cosplay...(It is best if you state the cosmetic you recommend is good for what kind of skin type eg. Oily, Dry, Dark...)
2. Websites about make-up which you think are good for beginners/intermediate/expert.
3. The big No-No. Telling others what you think are the most horrible mistakes one could do with make-up. Example, using lipliner or lipstick outside the contours of your lips!
4. Enlighten beginners what certain tools are for. Example, differences between foundation and base.
5. Make-up tutorials or tips for specific characters. Example, for Uchiha Sasuke, whether to use eyeliner to highlight the eyes, or powder to appear more paler, or use visual trick to enhance the bridge of your nose or whatsoever!
6. Feel free to ask others questions!
So, people, help me out and help others out too! I'll try to contribute too! I will keep a couple of posts after this post for updates. So each time, somebody add in some tips, I will update it at the front page, so people don't need to go through too many pages in search of what they want. Of course, acknowledgement would go to the people who contribute!
Big THANKIES to those who contribute.
