Hey yo I ain't no expert make up artist here too but practise really makes perfect (or at least improvement). I used to always wonder how ppl are able to draw with liquid eye liners. My first few tries suck so badly but after occasional practices, I realise it gets easier to draw after that.
Often, I'll observe some of my collection of fave Japanese cosplay pics, I start to realise one of the reasons why Japanese cosplay seem to stand out, they're really good at applying make-up; especially their eye make-up (since most anime/game characters have big eyes), eye-liner & mascara can really help enhance the way you look.
For foundation, I'll recommend KOSE. As for mascara, LOREAL double-extension waterproof really works well for me. And if you want fake eye lashes, can get them at Daiso IMM =DDDD
