good thread *bump*

impt fact ppl dont really realize, blusher is a good idea for both indoors and outdoors, though mostly indoors, because it adds highlights to your cheeks gives your face a rosy, healthy tinge. Make your blusher a tiny bit thicker and brush it across your nose to give that 'cute' anime blushing look. be careful not too put too much blusher though. AND ALWAYS USE A BIG BRUSH. for good application, SMILE and dust on the apples of your cheeks =D use a darker blush just below the cheekbone to create a 'pocket' and a lighter blush on the cheekbone to create more define cheekbones.

eyebrows -> ppl pluck them, girls or guys, helps to shape the face. If its your first time, get it done at a shop, there's a place in bugis village that does it for 5 bucks and a few around china town if you want if cheap and pretty good. After that its up to you to up keep it. also, remember to 'color' your eyebrows. Point in case would be inuran's lacus. her lacus has pink hair AND pink eyebrows. so remember, if your anime character has extreme colored hair, try to fix your eyebrows as well.

foundation -> if you dont want it messy, use two way cake foundation which is powder AND foundation, saves time and isnt as messy as liquid.

concealer -> green is good for red spots and pimples

eyeliner -> liquid for nice 'swish' line at the end, beginners learn with soft kohl if you want smoky effect before trying liquid. it isnt easy

fake lashe -> stick your lashes on AND DEN line your eyes, to help hide the 'line', remember to blend.

powder -> DONT ever try to go beyond three shades darker or lighter than your actual skin tone. Cause most ppl only do their faces and forget about their hands, neck, legs, arms etc and thus looks weird.

lipliner -> use it to define your lips and use one that's a tone darker than your lipstick so you can see the hint of definition. lipliner also helps prevent your lipstick from bleeding.

lip gloss-> use lip gloss to keep your lipstick from fading too fast, and makes your lips shinier, and wet

lipstick -> ALWAYS clean your lips with make up remover before eating and drinking [unless withs straw] cause you can never be too sure about chemical reactions.

dat's all i can think of now...and of course

ALWAYS WASH, TONE and MOSITURIZE your face before putting on make up. For outdoor shoots try to put on sunblock as well to prevent your cheeks [esp] from burning.
