Characters
Familiar faces along with new characters join in the array of excitement for StarCraft II. I think we need no introduction to the familiar characters such as the “beloved” Kerrigan, Queen of Blades for the Zerg Swarm and the relationship with the Terran, James Raynor and Zeratul, a Protoss.
The building up of the characters in the game is a rather interesting thing to observe as some critical choices during the campaign will build up the character. While the changes aren’t very obvious, the emotions put into the characters are very well made.
I am hoping for a bit more story detail on the side-cast characters, maybe in the next campaign as the story has been focusing on the main characters.
Visuals and Music
Honestly, this section does not need much review on it. You seen the trailers, you heard the trailer musics. Now just imagine that has been intensified with other tracks and awesome cut-scenes on the full version of the game. Glorious.
Though I need to mention this, interaction with the characters in-game brings them up “close”. The emotions and the graphic candy on their faces are mind blowing, sweet mother of mercy. I swore this could have been one of the best looking games around.
Visual candy during battles can be toned down but at its maximum settings, it is one of the best looking RTS around.
