31st August marks the birthday of Hatsune Miku, a special day for fans to celebrate this day. It has been 3 years since Miku started from an ordinary beginning of just a complexVoice Synthesizer program known as “Vocaloid” and in just 3 years, popularity soared and fandom skyrocketed across the world. Fan songs, tribute videos, cosplay and merchandise, Miku’s presence is everywhere. ^^
Hatsune Miku’s fandom grew even further as SEGA developed a music action game known as Project Diva, with its sequel released about a month ago on the PSP and also an extension on the PlayStation 3. It was warmly received.
