PlayStation Meeting 2011 Live Blog

PlayStation Meeting 2011, the next Sony press event will be held in Japan today. Will we be getting the anticipated announcement of the PSP2 or just exciting game titles ? What about Xperia Play ? Will the PSP2 be getting 3G ?

Here are the specs for NGP

Quad-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor,

5-inch touchscreen OLED display with 960 x 544 resolution,

dual analog sticks (not nubs as on the current generation),

3G and WiFi,

GPS,

Front and rear-mounted touchpad,

Accelerometer / gyroscope motion sensing as the PS move

We are waiting patiently on what will be announced in PlayStation Meeting 2011. But in the meantime, PS3 firmware 3.56 will be released some time today! (most likely after event). Will it block Geohot’s CFW? What changes will it have ?
