PlayStation Meeting 2011, the next Sony press event will be held in Japan today. Will we be getting the anticipated announcement of the PSP2 or just exciting game titles ? What about Xperia Play ? Will the PSP2 be getting 3G ?

Quad-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor,
5-inch touchscreen OLED display with 960 x 544 resolution,
dual analog sticks (not nubs as on the current generation),
3G and WiFi,
Front and rear-mounted touchpad,
Accelerometer / gyroscope motion sensing as the PS move

the MGS4 is a tech demo, not an official announcement that the game is heading for NGP
Those cut scenes look great so far but we are hoping it is the same or on par in actual gameplay

So..now we have the NGP and the PlayStation Suite.
Kaz Hirai talks more about content that works on smartphones will also work on NGP
Gryoscope allows you to control the plane of view by move your NGP around. Think of it as a giant iPhone with features
Oh..something about the LiveArea UI, it serves as a game gateway for news, DLC and trophies
It is also able to create a map of where you have been, tracks your location. Oh – privacy trolls. You will whining about this
But hey, it is gonna add some more fun
Trophies on Sony’s new NGP device.. and yes, every game will have their own “Live Area”
This is the user interface of the “PSP2″, it is known as LiveArea and you are able to access various options and functions through it.

“Hardware-neutral Game Framework” announced too. What is that ?? It is a development framework for mobile titles
