Today Sony has unveiled a new program where they will be converting select PSP titles into HD versions exclusive for the PS3 console. These games will have new features in the form of exclusive content, Dualshock 3 support, HD visuals, 3D support and more.

The game saves for the PSP version are also able to be transferred to the PS3 remastered version and vice versa it seems and the PS3 versions can enjoy multiplayer via the Adhoc Party program. The first game announced for this line is Monster Hunter Portable 3rd and it will be released in Summer this year. Future titles will be announced in the oncoming future.

Wow, PSP games updated for PS3, I never thought I’d actually see this happen! Personally I would love to see MGS Peace Walker and Valkyria Chronicles 2 and 3 to make the jump soon. What would you like to see?
