Nintendo 3DS gets a price drop, selling at US$170 in August

Waiting for a price drop on the Nintendo 3DS ? Your wish has come true. Nintendo has confirmed in a recent press release that their flagship handheld will be selling at US$169.99 beginning August 12 this year in America

The new price which is a US$80 off from its official launch price will position the 3DS to upcoming competition such as the likes of Sony’s upcoming PlayStation Vita. Start saving, August is around the corner. In Japan, Nintendo has also confirmed the price of the 3DS to be at 15,000 yen beginning August 11.
