The English version of the Cardfight!! Vanguard trading card game has also been confirmed which will begin its pre-release sales in Anime Festival Asia 2011 (AFA 2011). 2 types of trial decks (Blaster Blade, Dragonic Overlord) and the first booster pack (Descent of King of Knights) will be available and begin actual retail on December 3 (S$3 / pack). A Korean version of the game will also be introduced on October 4, this is only available in Korea only.
Singapore will also serve as the main distribution channel to neighbouring South-east Asia countries for the English version of Cardfight!! Vanguard. Interestingly, Japan will also be getting it too. Bushiroad reinforced its stand that the Japanese version will still be supported here. Kidani-san shared that Japanese and English card tournaments will be held simultaneously even in Japan. While details are not clear if folks are allowed to trade-in their Japanese version of cards, we will assume it is a no for now as both versions are supported in Singapore.
For fans living in countries as far as Australia, Hong Kong, Europe, India , Taiwan and even USA, the English version of the trading card game will also be retailing in your region soon. Over in Singapore, Genesis Frontier will serve as the key distribution partner for Bushiroad’s Cardfight!! Vanguard.
