Tetsujin and Good Smile Company to open anime cafes in Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and Singapore

Ten anime-themed cafes are planned and set to launch in Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and Singapore. Japanese karoke and internet cafe “Tetsujinka Keikaku (Tetsujin)”, together with Good Smile Company, a figurine manufacturer will be opening its first cafe in Akiba beginning October 28 this year.

Taiwan will be the next to open its cafe followed by Thailand and Singapore, the company plans to open these ten cafes over a span of three years. Good Smile Company will play the role of selling the café chain will sell anime character figures and host voice actor (Seiyuu) appearances and organise cafe events.

The opening of the Akiba branch will see a Puella Magi Madoka Magica theme and feature items related to the anime in the menu. The theme is set to change every three months.
