Bleach Ends TV Run, Hollywood Adaptation Considered

A TV guide published in Japan inadvertently leaked the news that the Bleach anime will end its broadcast run on March 27.

Its 6:00 PM Tuesday time slot on TV Tokyo will be taken over by the new weekly Naruto SD: Rock Lee no Seishun Full-Power Ninden starting April 3.

In other news, Hollywood entertainment magazine Variety is reporting that Warner Bros. has purchased the rights to Bleach and is working on a live-action movie adaptation.

Dan Mazeau of the Clash of the Titans remake will be in charge of the screenplay, and Peter Segal of the Get Smart remake will produce and possibly direct the film.

    This is terrible! Everytime American producers try to redo an anime or manga series, it comes out horribly. An example! “Dragonball z” movie with Chow Yun Fat as Kame Sensei. Please Please PLEASE don’t destroy Bleach!!!

     today we have the technology to make a live-action bleach just look at avatar…what we need are good director and actors. i think sam raini or Christopher nolan are able to direct a good live action film because the were able to make marvel comics into great movies

    Is this for real i mean ive been watching bleach since lastmonth and it will stop airing here in japan?come on  dont stop bleach airing i admit that onepiece is greater than bleach but this anime gives me a lot of goosebumps >:)
