Atelier Meruru Plus is real; new costumes include Rorona’s garb [Updated]

According to this week’s issue of Famitsu Weekly, one of the new costumes for Meruru added in Atelier Meruru Plus for PlayStation Vita is that of Rorona’s.

We don’t have any images of Meruru in Rorona garb for now, but here’s what Rorona from Atelier Rorona, the first game in the Apprentice of Arland trilogy, looks like:

So far there hasn’t been any images or scans on the Net from this week’s issue of Weekly Famitsu, but as usual, we’ll update this post later if we find any.

One more tiny morsel of info to share before we go: like we mentioned yesterday, Atelier Meruru Plus will include new events that will leave fans salivating.

Apparently, one such event is some kind of showdown between Meruru and her master. In the PS3 version there was already something like that, however, so at the moment we don’t know if this Meruru and master showdown refers to that quest on the PS3, or a brand new one.

It’s also mentioned that there are other shocking developments new in Atelier Meruru Plus, but we’ll have to wait quite a while longer before we find out.

Atelier Meruru Plus (メルルのアトリエ Plus アーランドの錬金術士3) for the PlayStation Vita is slated to be released in Japan March 20, 2013.
