The anime series left us a tearful yet satisfying closure, but you can’t help but wonder what will happen to Ohana Matsumae and the rest of Kissuiso’s hard-working employees. Lucky for us fans, a theatrical release of Hanasaku Iroha: Home Sweet Home was announced, and a movie trailer has finally been revealed.
The teaser doesn’t really tell us what the movie is all about. We’re only shown some footage from the TV anime series and the only thing that’s fresh in the short teaser video is the scene where Ohana sees something that makes her face brighten up.
What kind of new endeavors will Ohana face in the movie? I’m definitely thrilled to know (and I’m sure you are as well). Let’s hope that the producers will soon release a full trailer that details the story of the movie.
Tickets to the movie already went on sale with goodies that include postcards and mini-tapestries.
The movie is a P.A. Works production and will still feature the same voice cast.
Hanasaku Iroha: Home Sweet Home is initially scheduled for a release in theaters in Ishikawa on March 9. And then the nationwide opening will be on March 30.
