Mind controllers, new souls, massive continents… Oh and a bunch of Storm-touched Legions on the side. Reviewed! Rift’s new expansion, Storm Legion!

For those looking to lock themselves away during the Christmas season and beyond, nothing quite beats an MMO. There’s the full gamut of free-to-play titles, but if you’re in the market for something distinctly more subscriber-based that delivers quality, Trion World’s have released their latest expansion in Rift: Storm Legion.

Following the machinations of the mind-lusting air dragon queen Crucia (She of the really hot bod on the front box) the continents of Brevane and Dusken have been nearly overrun, their populace scattered after their own version of the Ward falls. It’s up to you, Ascended, to save the world again. Four new souls – one for each class – and new content including the amazingly fun Dimensions housing project, look set to entice old and new players. Want to know what we think?
