Accel World: Kasoku no Chouten’s latest promo and screens make a last-minute bid for your hard-earned money

Accel World: Kasoku no Chouten (Apex of Acceleration) comes out tomorrow (January 31) in Japan for the PlayStation 3 and PSP platforms.

Accel World: Kasoku no Chouten is a sequel Ginyoku no Kakusei (Awakening of the Silver Wings), which Namco Bandai Games released last year for the PS3 and PSP platforms.

If you’re a fan of the Reki Kawahara (also of Sword Art Online fame) sci-fi light-novel-turned-anime-turned-game franchise who’s familiar with the first game, then you sure wouldn’t be a stranger to this second title, which features many of the same gameplay mechanics contained in the first. There will also be plenty of character-focused sidestories, as well as the usual suite of fanservice events.

The game will also come with a bonus original video animation (OVA) episode where the series’ characters visit a hot springs inn.
