From smart phone cases to PS3 accessories, a variety of items and products sold in Japan have already gone through a Vocaloid makeover. And now, alcoholic drinks are no longer an exception. So if you’re a wine-collecting Vocaloid fan, a Moe Shochu Lily is something worth adding to your growing collection.
Alcoholic drinks with moe girls on the bottle labels are increasingly popular in Japan. And the latest offering is the Moe Shochu Lily designed with the Vocaloid Lily wearing her oiran outfit.
The illustration on the Moe Shochu Lily label was created by the original character designer himself, KEI, who also drew Hatsune Miku, Megurine Luka, Kagamine Rin and Kagamine Len. Lily’s voice was provided by m.o.v.e’s vocalist, yuri.
Moe Shochu Lily has an alcohol volume of 12%. It is lighter compared to regular shochu’s that have 25 to 35% alcohol volume. The 300 ml bottle costs 1200 JPY (13.70 USD).
