Solid launch date revealed for the North American release of Naruto Powerful Shippuden

The announcement on the North American release of Naruto Powerful Shippuden with the 3DS as its battlefield was good news indeed. But the lack of a launch date left us hanging. Finally, Namco Bandai Games America has announced that the Naruto spin-off is coming out on March 5, so mark your calendars now!

Fans of all ages can enjoy the side-scrolling gameplay of Naruto Powerful Shippuden. The characters are designed in their miniature appearance, or most commonly known to us, anime fans, as the chibi form.

Below are the features of the game:

• Explore two different stories—you can either play as Naruto or Rock Lee. Enjoy the different campaigns each story has to offer.
• Two modes of gameplay. Beat up enemies nonstop in the endless battle mode or complete the story mode.
• Amusing graphics and comical character actions and expressions.
• Dynamic gameplay. Strengthen your characters by earning experience points. You can also ask help from other characters during battles or raise the power of your special attacks using the touch screen function.
• QR code feature. Access other bonuses from the game by scanning QR codes.
