Fans of the electro-pop trio who missed out on the one hour footage can now watch it on Perfume’s official Youtube page.
The footage, originally a live UStream broadcast a day before Valentine’s Day, is now available for public viewing. The live broadcast is a 5-hour treat for fanclub members, of which the girls are also members of. The fanclub is aptly named ‘P.T.A’, short for “Perfume to Anata”, which means “Perfume and You”. The 5 hour broadcast not only commemorates the fanclub’s 5th Anniversary, but also the official launch of the Global fanclub.
The first hour footage also comes with English subtitles for non-Japanese fans. This action is no less due to the efforts of their music label, Universal Music, to push the girls globally since their shift from Tokuma Japan Communications last year. The girls have recently finished their 1st World Tour in November last year, though only 4 locations (Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore) which made it more of an Asia tour. Perfume has also released their latest single, Mirai no Museum earlier this week, and reached 2nd in Oricon daily charts, behind SMAP’s AA single Mistake!/Battery.
