Shingeki no Kyojin displays have been appearing in anime merchandise shop all over Japan since the anime adaptation began airing early last month.  A friendly competition seems to be going on between the shops as they try to out do each other with their displays. The displays themselves, which are intended to promote the anime as well as the manga have ranged from impressive to amusing.

The anime series which is turning out to be a hit series has already started a parody video meme late last month.

Shingeki no Kyojin is a manga by Isayama Hajime (諫山 創). It is set in an alternate middle age world where giant humanoid creatures have been attacking and devouring humans. To protect themselves, humans have walled themselves in behind 3 gigantic walls. For a hundred years, the wall kept them safe until it was breached.

Shingeki no Kyoujin is currently being serialized in Kodansha’s monthly magazine, Bessatsu Shounen Magazine with volume 10 being it’s most recent issue. The anime adaptation is currently being aired and is scheduled to be 25 episodes long.
