The Atelier RPG series is known not only for its gripping gameplay, but also for its fascinating music. With the approach of the latest instalment Atelier Escha & Logy, Gust has announced the series’ first dedicated concert.
The Atelier Premium Live will take place on May 26 at Pasela Resort Ginza and feature various musicians from Atelier Escha & Logy and previous Atelier games, including the artists listed below.
Haruka Shimotsuki is a longtime partner of Gust who is known for her fantastical melodies and has composed songs for many of the Atelier games, as well as other games and the anime Rozen Maiden.
A rock duo who not only contributed the song Mugendai Chronicle to Atelier Escha and Logy, but have also written music for anime, such as the character song album of Minamike Tadaima.
A fresh singer and pianist who debuted just last year in the indie scene with her single Flannel, and later released her mini-album Landscape. For Atelier Escha & Logy, she has contributed the world traveler theme, Kaiyuugyo no Genfuukei (Scenery of a Migratory Fish).
The vocalist of the J-pop band Local Bus who performed the peaceful opening theme of Atelier Ayesha, Hanashirube, as well as Little Crown from Atelier Meruru.
People who buy a ticket to the concert will receive a free mini-soundtrack album for Atelier Escha & Logy, and of course, there will be more merchandise on sale at the event. Tickets to the event cost 4,800 yen, so fans of the Atelier games who will be in Japan this month should pre-order or buy their tickets on Gust’s online shop.
Meanwhile, the rest of us can wait for Atelier Escha & Logy to come to the PS3 on June 27. On a final note, the original soundtrack and vocal album for the game will be released one day before the game, so mark your calendars for those, as well.
