It has been revealed that flumpool and SID will be performing in the international event 「Music Matters 2013」, which is going to be held on May 22 – May 24 on eight venues all over Clarke Quay.
flumpool and SID will be appearing on the main stage on May 23, 9:00 PM in front of an expected audience of 15,000. They will appear and perform in a segment called 「J-rock Matters presented by BARKS」.
Furthermore, these two bands will appear on Beer Market in Clarke Quay in an invite-only live with three-man band WEAVER, creating an intense Japanese line-up. While the segment flumpool and SID are appearing in will be around 9:00 PM, their appearance for this invitational live on Beer Market will be on 11:00 PM.
On another note, as previously reported, flumpool guitarist Sakai Kazuki will be putting a temporary cease to his visual activities with the band until the end of June. There’s a chance that he will not be appearing for this event, and will instead have a temporary help stand in for him.
「Music Matters 2013」 is an international music event which includes various programs such as public performances, panel discussions, showcase lives, and other programs. The event will feature more than 50 bands from many different countries, as well as Singapore’s very own. Admission is free, but it is also planned to be streamed live.
