Kyary just keeps on surprising both her fans and the media with her unique sense of style and fashion. The press event was held at the Modern Asian Diner located at The Grandstand.
Decked out in a casual full black ensemble, with matching jacket and dotted stockings, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu will be having her last overseas concert leg in Singapore. The Singapore concert tickets were officially sold out yesterday morning, no doubt due to the marketing efforts of the local organizers SOZO and CROONER.
A special mango mocktail drink was prepared by the resident bartender of the restaurant, and named aptly as “Pon Pon Pon”, Kyary’s début breakthrough single.
Here’s some fun facts and replies from Kyary’s Q&A session:
- Wants to introduce tops with puffed sleeves to Singapore’s ladies fashion scene
- Changing out costumes from Tsukematsukeru to Fashion Monster very quickly during last year’s Kohaku Uta Gassen Song Battle
- Feels that she is inappropriate for normal social life as she cannot take a mundane lifestyle, and pretty much prefers her life as an artiste and Kawaii-Harajuku fashion ambassador
- Hopes to be able to work with other Japanese artistes to enhance the position of Japanese pop culture in general
