valvrave saki rukino manga

If you have been following Valvrave the Liberator, you probably saw Saki Rukino perform a song number. Doesn’t it make you wonder how her idol days were like?

Saki Rukino’s days as a star will finally be revealed in the upcoming manga Kakumeiki Valvrave Ryuusei no Valkyrie (Valvrave the Liberator: Falling Star Valkyrie). This manga is scheduled for a monthly release in the Dengeki Daioh magazine with Yutaka Oohori as its creator.

Along with this release, a light novel series written by Yomoji Otono and illustrated by Yuugen will be launched in Dengeki Hobby Magazine’s July issue. This mecha series also has two other manga projects. The one-shot planned for release in the July issue of Jump Square was created by Karega Tsuchiya. The other manga drawn by Ichiya Sazanami will be serialized in Sylph magazine’s August issue.

Valvrave the Liberator, the mecha anime series produced by Sunrise, is part of the spring 2013 lineup which premiered last April in Japan. To know what the series is about, just check out our previous post.
