A little over a week ago, Radio Kaikan Press first brought word of an Uta no Prince-sama Maji Love 2000% wall art being painted on one of the construction site barrier walls at the old Radio Kaikan location in Akihabara, as part of a promotion for the release of the franchise’s Idol Song series of character song CD releases.
At the time, the wall art had not yet been complete, and so only five of the seven character portraits had been put up.
But today, Radio Kaikan Press reports that the entire wall art has finally been finished, and is drawing quite a bit attention once again from fans who happened to be in the Akihabara area.
Here are some more pictures of the wall art back when only five of the character portraits had been done. At the time, the portraits for Cecil Ajima and Tokiya Ichinose were not ready yet.
The character art here is based on the CD jacket designs for the aforementioned Idol Song series of CDs. The Idol Song CD for Syo Kurusu (CV: Hiro Shimono) was released last week, and the one for Masato Hijirikawa (CV: Kenichi Suzumura) was released today.
Uta no Prince-sama Maji Love 2000% Idol Song CDs themed after Otoya Ittoki (CV: Takuma Terashima), Ren Jinguuji (CV: Junichi Suwabe), Natsuki Shinomiya (CV: Kishou Taniyama), Cecil Ajima (CV: Kousuke Toriumi), and Tokiya Ichinose (CV: Mamoru Miyano) will be released – in this particular order – every Wednesday until June 12.
Unfortunately, the wall art itself will only be displayed till May 16. So if you’re a fan and happen to be in the Tokyo area, be sure to head on down to Akihabara before next Thursday to admire
Toukiya Ichinose’s the wall art’s beaut!
