Popular rock unit Porno Graffitti will be having their first slew of overseas live performances this coming summer. “We want to meet this great challenge by having great fun,” says Porno Graffitti as expression of their vigour and excitement.

This is Porno Graffitti’s first step towards the world. The first live will be on July 6 in ‘Anime Expo 2013′ in Los Angeles, where they are the guests of honour for the event. The other two lives will be in Asia: August 2 in Incheon, Korea for ‘PENTAPORT ROCK FESTIVAL 2013′; August 4 in Taipei, Taiwan for another rock festival called ‘FORMOZ FESTIVAL 2013′.

Porno Graffitti has always done tours exclusively within Japan; definitely a welcoming opportunity with great timing, seeing the success abroad from younger artistes of the same agency, Amuse. They have composed many hit anime songs including “Melissa” for Fullmetal Alchemist, “Hitori no Yoru” for GTO, and more recently, “Matataku Hoshi no Shita de” for Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic, so it can be said that Porno Graffitti is already known worldwide.

In Japan, Porno Graffiti is a top rock-duo with many hit singles, sold-out stadium lives, and successful tours. They are also the pioneers for the Amuse mega-event, “Amuse 35th Anniversary BBQ in Tsumagoi ~Bokura no Beat wo Kurae HORA!“, which will be on July 13-14 with popular artists Perfume, flumpool, ONE OK ROCK, and many more.

If you’re not familiar with them, start with the anime songs listed above – you won’t be disappointed!
