After the award-winning zombie game The Walking Dead, are we really surprised that the sequel to come later in 2013 already has so much hype? However, before jumping right into Season Two, you better get the whole story with the DLC 400 Days that includes an extra episode of five stories.
To play 400 Days, you need to have at least the first episode of Season One installed. Even though, after this minimum requirement, you can immediately begin 400 Days, TellTale recommends completing Season One. After all, 400 Days links Season One and Season Two, so the choices you made in Season One will influence 400 Days, and likewise the choices you make in 400 Days will influence Season Two. Consequently, it’s a good idea to keep all your game data saved and play everything on the same platform.
Each of the five episodes of 400 Days will introduce a new character: Bonnie, Shel, Wyatt, Russell, and Vince. The concept behind 400 Days is, if we count the first day of the zombie outbreak as Day One, what transpired for the next three-hundred and ninety-nine days at a truck stop. Of course, you can expect the same tough choices, gory scenes, and great graphics of The Walking Dead.
The best part about it is the price: only $4.99. While TellTale never explicitly told (ironic, right?) us whether characters from Season One will appear in 400 Days or Season Two, I wouldn’t be too surprised if some of the characters that survived did make an appearance. 400 Days will be available for PSN, XBLA, PC, iOS, and Mac in July. The version for the PS Vita, which will include Season One and 400 Days, will come later in August. Prepare for the zombie apocalypse until then!
