In Furyu’s newest RPG, you give people special powers by kissing them.
Exstetra is an RPG for the 3DS and PS Vita coming from Furyu, the developer of Unchained Blades. The story begins when Tokyo is suddenly fused with an alternate world called Amazia. The protagonist is a high school boy named Ryouma who is chosen to be the “Prisma”, the hero who must save the two worlds from disappearing into oblivion. As part of his mission, he must seek out people who can become “Prisma Knights” and awaken their powers by kissing them.
To get a glimpse of the game, you can watch the teaser video from Furyu, featuring character illustrations by Tony and Katsumi Enami, and the theme song with you, performed by ClariS (the same duo who performed the opening theme of OreImo).
Just once, okay? Just a little bit, okay?!
Not many details have been revealed yet, but we do know three of the main characters.
Ryouma (CV: Yuuichi Nakamura)
The hero of the game and the Prisma who must save Amazia and bring peace to the world. Unfortunately, he has no memories.
Shiho (CV: Kaori Ishihara)
A 17-year-old high school girl who aims to be an idol. She shared a kiss with Ryouma and became a Prisma Knight.
Masaru (CV: Takuya Eguchi)
An easygoing mood maker who loves video games. Like Shiho, he is also a Prisma Knight(!).
You can start kissing your friends when Exstetra is released on October 17. Also, the theme song with you will be included in ClariS’s next album, Second Story, coming on June 26. Put this game alongside Conception II, the game where you make children and use them to fight monsters, and you have two… unusual games.
