The launch of the highly anticipated Monster Hunter 4 has got many people excited and now, Capcom‘s original Monster Hunting series is collaborating with popular anime and manga series Silver Spoon.

The anime adaptation for Full Metal Alchemist manga author Hiromu Arakawa’s other highly popular manga series is currently airing in Japan and it is providing the hunters a really unique weapon. Presenting, the Silver Spoon! That’s right! With this bad boy, you can whack all sorts of monsters with this ginormous spoon. More details on this collaboration will be announced soon.

It would be totally awesome if you could have a gigantic fork as well so your hunter would look totally bad-ass with his dual wielding.

Silver Spoon ain’t the only series that will make an appearance in the video game as some heavy hitters from Nintendo will also be making an appearance. Some special costumes will be provided  including these Mario and Luigi Felyne costumes. These costumes will be available via 7-11 stores all across Japan.

Link will also be appearing in the game and he is bringing his Master Sword , Hylian Shield as well as his bow and arrows with him! These Legend of Zelda monster Hunter weapons and costumes will be available through download. More details on this Legend of Zelda Monster Hunter set will be revealed soon.

Monster Hunter 4 for the 3DS comes out in Japan on September 14, 2013.

On the same day, Capcom will also be releasing an Asian version of Monster Hunter 4 (Japanese text/voices in game, supports online play on the same servers in Japan, but comes with a Chinese instruction manual, priced at HK$368) for the Hong Kong and Taiwan markets.
