DECO*27 is celebrating five years of composing by thanking his fans with a new album featuring all his best VOCALOID songs.

After putting out his latest song on October 9, the same day he released his first song in 2008, DECO*27 made a very important announcement for fans: a new best of CD titled DECO*27 VOCALOID COLLECTION 2008~2012.

The title may be long, but it goes with a long history of popular songs.

DECO*27 has composed hits like Coward Montblanc, Ai Think So, and, outside of the world of VOCALOID, a collaboration with KousP and Teddyloid earned him fame with the song galaxias. With so many great songs and so many fans, it seems appropriate that DECO*27 would say in the comments of Aikotoba II: “This is a thank you for before, and a thank you from here on out.”

The CD itself will come in three different versions: a Thank You From Here On Out Box set, a limited first-run, and a standard edition.

The Thank You From Here On Out Box set may cost the most at 5,500 yen, but is full of some of the best stuff. The artwork for the box is done by Chiho of Melancholic fame, and the two CD’s are printed on Blu-Spec CD2 to give the clearest sound possible.

If you noticed in the illustration, the character is wearing a gonoturn mask, and for a good reason: the fashion company is bundling a special edition Candy Pop mask with the box set.chihoillustbox

Plus, if you need to show your love of DECO*27 everywhere, it will also include a sticker sheet of all his past albums. If all of that wasn’t enough a DVD and 40-page booklet detailing all of this is also included.

For those who don’t want to go quite as far as the box set but still want to show their DECO*27 devotion, the limited first-run version will also include the DVD and booklet, but retails for 3,500 yen instead. The standard release will only have a 20 page booklet and cost only 2,500 yen.

No matter which version you decide to buy it will ship on December 18 of this year, so it seems he’s had this project under wraps for some time.
