Two more playable characters have just been unveiled for Sega and Ascii Media Work’s 2D fighter Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax.
Durarara!!’s Shizuo Heiwajima and Accel World’s Kuroyukihime will join Sword Art Online’s Asuna, Shana from Shakugan no Shana, Oreimo’s Kirino Kousaka and A Certain Scientific Railgun’s Misaka Mikoto in the roster for the 2D fighter, which will hit arcades in Japan first, before seeing a home console release.
Details on which platform it will appear on, and a release time frame for the home cosnole version have not yet been announced.
A location test for the arcade fighting game will be held next week, from October 11 to 13, so that’s when we can likely expect more information on this highly-anticipated title.
For those of you readers lucky enough to be in Tokyo from October 11 to 13, the location test will be held at two separate places: the Club Sega 1-Go branch in Akihabara (セガ 秋葉原 1号館 which is the oldest branch; there’s like two or three Club Sega arcades in Akiba) and Club Sega Shinjuku West Exit (クラブ セガ 新宿西口) near JR Shinjuku station.
Until then, here’s the first trailer for the game, which was also unveiled today at the Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival held in Akihabara today.
