Japanese convenience store giant, Lawson, has teamed up with Kadokawa for multimedia franchise that is directed towards the ladies. It’s called Kobini Kareshi, and it follows a group of handsome young men who like hanging out in a convenience store. I wonder which convenience store that is?
The franchise will also be getting its very own TV anime, which will premiere in July 2017. Studio Pierrot will be animating the project, with Hayato Date directing it.
The project launched back in 2015, and has included a wide variety of media, including drama CDs and a series of mooks, which are basically a Japanese hybrid of magazines and books. They will be announcing more details about Kobini Kareshi soon.
