Japanese entertainment website, Eiga.com, reported that Masami Kurumada’s Saint Seiya manga is getting itself a Hollywood live-action movie adaptation. They also revealed that Toei Animation and Chinese distribution company A Really Good Film Company (ARGF) are co-producing the movie.

Academy Award-nominated director, Tomasz Bagiński, will be directing the movie. He is best known for his short animated film, Katedra. Toei will also be sending Yoshiyuki Ikezawa and Kozo Morishita as producers, with Morishita serving as executive producer.

As of the moment, not much details have been revealed so far, and that includes the actors playing the roles in the movie. Expect Toei to announce more details about the movie soon.
