You can soon play Nintendo games at Osaka’s Kansai International Airport for free as Free Gameplay area to open this month
Are you in the Kansai International airport and you have a lay over? How about a delayed flight? Did you arrive too early for your flight? Well, don’t worry, because Nintendo will soon open a Free Gameplay area in the airport, which allows passengers to play Nintendo games for free.
Nintendo is teaming up with their home city’s own international airport just for this free gameplay area. Called the Nintendo Check In, travelers can find it at the first floor of Kansai International’s Terminal 1. Nintendo Check In will contain demo areas for both the Switch and the 3DS, as well as a statue of Mario himself. Inside the area, travelers can try out a variety of Nintendo games available for the two above-mentioned platforms.
Nintendo characters will also be taking over the airport itself! Mario, Luigi, Peach, and company will all be greeting passengers coming into the airport… Bowser too!
The free gameplay area will on on June 23, 2017, but it won’t be open 24/7, sorry people flying late at night. But it will be operating daily though, from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mario himself will also be making an appearance from June 23 – 25 to greet the fans and take pictures with them.
