Anteiku may be one of the most iconic cafes in anime, and thanks to the live-action Tokyo Ghoul movie, it’s also getting a real-life version. Don’t worry though, they won’t serve human flesh, but they do serve some sandwiches and coffee, just like the one from Sui Ishida’s manga.
You can find this real-world version of Tokyo Ghoul’s cafe around JR Shibuya Station. However, it’s a pop-up cafe, which means it would only be open for a limited time, from July 1 – 31, 2017. According to the movie’s official website, it will also display props and costumes from the film itself.
The real-life version of Anteiku will be serving a variety of sandwiches and coffee to patrons, with prices ranging from 300 yen to 340 yen. It will also sell advance tickets to see the movie for 1,400 yen.
