After Fairy Tail and Hayate the Combat Butler ended earlier this year, yet another long-running manga is also about to end, and that is Akiko Higashimura’s Princess Jellyfish.

According to the September 2017 issue of the Josei manga magazine, KISS, which serializes the series, the manga will be ending in the magazine’s next issue, which is the October 2017 issue. This next issue will be released on August 25, 2017.

The manga just came back from a long hiatus which started with the magazine’s January 2016 issue. Higashimura’s manga follows Tsukimi Kurashita, a jellyfish-obsessed girl who lives with her friends in an all-female building called Amamizukan. Higashimura launched the manga in KISS magazine back in 2008. It then inspired a popular anime back in 2010, as well as a live-action movie back in 2014. The manga also won plenty of awards, and is even nominated for an Eisner Award, one of the most prestigious awards in the comic book industry.
