With the TV anime adaptation of Musawo’s Love and Lies currently airing, the romance manga is as strong as ever. But did you know that it also has a live-action movie adaptation? And with its October 14 premiere fast approaching, Showgate has revealed a couple of new trailers:

Both video feature the live-action movie’s theme song, which is “Hello” by Shougo Sakamoto. Aside from the new trailer, the film has also revealed its own poster visual, which features all three leads.

The film stars (from left to right):

  • Takumi Kitamura as Yuuto Shiba
  • Aoi Morikawa as Aoi Nisaka
  • Kanta Satou as Sousuke Takachiho

If you’re familiar with the manga, as well as the anime, you might have noticed something different, right? This is because the live-action movie will feature original characters. Both the manga and anime feature a love triangle between two girls and two boys, while the movie will feature a different trio comprised of one girl and two boys. However, the movie will still have that premise where the government is the one to choose your marriage partner for you.

Assassination Classroom’s Takeshi Furusawa will be directing the movie, which premieres on October 14, 2017.
