The live-action Digimon stage play, “Super Evolution Stage Digimon Adventure tri. – The Adventure of August 1-” has finally premiered back in Japan. Now, we get a new 6-minute digest video courtesy of the play’s very own YouTube channel. They also revealed a brand new PV as well.

So, the partner Digimon are truly puppets, huh? Meanwhile, Enterstage has revealed new images taken from the play itself! It also reveals what Metalgreymon and Metalgarurumon look like for the play itself.

Tokyo’s Zepp Blue Theater Roppongi will be holding 10 shows for the 2.5D play from August 5-13, with tickets costing 7,800 yen.

The play will have an original story, with the eight original Digidestined going on a camping trip together on August 1, even if the others were a bit busy.  The planned camping trip pushes through, but Mimi suddenly forgets the camping equipment, and things go wrong pretty fast. But then, Taichi remembers that this is exactly like their first camping trip together… to the Digital World. But as they go about their camping trip, the camping grounds slowly reveal its hidden secrets.
