As Naruto finally passes the torch to his son Boruto, the franchise is getting itself a new video game for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It’s called Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, and Weekly Shounen Jump magazine’s latest issue is teasing more about the game.
According to the scan, players can create and customize their own characters with the game’s character creator. This means that players can not only play as some familiar Naruto universe characters, but also their own. Players can also decide on their character’s roles, weapon, ninjutsu, and many more.
In addition, players can also learn new moves with the “VR Ninjutsu Arena”. Players can do a bit of visual training and even go up against past characters. The scan also reveals that players can learn special ninjutsu from Boruto himself. It also reveals that Boruto is an offense-type character.
The game is set during the reign of the 7th Hokage, with the ninja world hosting “Ninja World League” martial arts tournament to determine who is the “ultimate ninja”. The game will be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC by early 2018.
