Re:Zero light novel previews Young Emilia
Re:Zero is back, as author Tappei Nagatsuki prepares to release his latest chapter for the bestselling light novel series. And as Volume 14 prepares for its release, a look at its cover art reveals a younger version of the series’ main heroine, Emilia:
Light novel illustrator, Shinichirou Otsuka, drew her designs, and received plenty of love from fans. She might not be as popular as Rem, but remember that she’s still the main heroine. MF Bunko J also reveals Otsuka’s designs for the characters, including Emilia’s aunt and foster mother, Fortuna, as well as a young Petelgeuse Romanee-Conti, you know, the anime’s main villain… who still looks a bit innocent here.
They will release the light novel volume in Japan this September 25, 2017, and it will contain a flashback story explaining Emilia’s past. As for what Petelgeuse’s involvement with her in her youth, we’ll find out when the volume is finally released.
