Today is the first day of CharaExpo 2017, and Shogakukan Asia is participating! Their booth is Booth no. C04, and they are offering a special selection of books and manga. This also includes getting to pre-order Vol. 2 of the English edition of the BanG Dream manga, as well as Pokemon Let’s Compare Omnibus.! Those who pre-order will get the copies mailed to them.
One of the other highlights in Shogakukan’s booth is the Mr. Kiasu autograph signing booth. Its very own creator, Johnny Lau, will be on hand for a special autograph session with fans.
After an 18-year hiatus, Mr Kiasu is finally back!
Mr Kiasu: Everything Also Like Real launches in Singapore bookstores this weekend,
and CharaExpo attendees will be able to pick their copies up by simply walking over to the Shogakukan Asia booth!
What’s more, Mr Kiasu creator Johnny Lau will be making an appearance at the CharaExpo Mini Stage on Sunday
from 1.15pm to 2pm to talk about the new book, as well as do a drawing demonstration and sign autographs.
During the stage event we will also be picking out 10 winners to receive haircut vouchers from QB HOUSE,
a supporter of the Mr Kiasu project.
Attendees who purchase the new Mr Kiasu comic book from Shogakukan Asia’s booth at CharaExpo will receive
a priority ticket (limited to 30 pax) to get their book signed by the author.
As for those who purchase any volume of “The Legendary Hero is Dead”, they also get to receive a free poster.
And those who purchase any volume of Megane Collection or Megane Sensei + Kiss, they also get their own A3 Poster.
And fret not Detective Conan fans, because anyone who purchases three Detective Conan manga at the Shogakukan Asia booth during CharaExpo 2017 will also get a special tote bag.
The Shogakukan Booth will also feature other titles, such as Pokemon, The Lee Kuan Yew Story, Beyblade, and Future Card Buddyfight.
CharaExpo 2017 is happening on September 9 and 10 at Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre Hall 404-406!
