Looks like Kenshin and the gang are returning after the Hokkaido Arc! According to Jump Square magazine, Rurouni Kenshin returns to serialization with a brand new manga arc, with mangaka Nobuhiro Watsuki working on it once again. The popular samurai manga returns to serialization 18 years after the original manga has ended.
This new Rurouni Kenshin manga series will begin in the October 2017 issue of Jump Square magazine. The manga will continue after the events of the Hokkaido Arc prologue manga, which was released as a 2-chapter mini series last year.
Not much is known about this new series yet, but expect Rurouni Kenshin fans to follow the manga again. The series has already inspired three successful live-action movie adaptations, and of course, the anime, which is now considered a classic.
