Thanks to a new software by Crypton Future Media, Hatsune Miku can now also sing in Chinese. Called Hatsune Miku V4 Chinese, this new software has the same features as the Hatsune Miku V4’s English and Japanese versions, but in Chinese of course. In fact, the official Hatsune Miku YouTube channel is now streaming a few Chinese Miku songs as samples:
Crypton tweaked Miku a bit so that she can clearly pronounce Chinese consonants and vowels. As for the software’s boxart, Kai-ri Sei Million Arthur illustrator, Mame no Moto, is the one responsible for the illustration.
The Chinese pack is now available for download via Crypton’s online download store, Sonicwire. They are selling it for 10,800 yen. It will include Piapro Studio, which is a stand-alone Vocaloid voice editing app.
