TV Tokyo and Netflix are teaming up to adapt the hit supernatural manga by ONE (One Punch Man), Mob Psycho 100. According to TV Tokyo, the series will premiere in January 2018, and will star Tatsuomi Hamada as Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama.

This live-action TV drama adaptation of the manga and anime will first air in Japan in TV Tokyo’s 1:00-1:30 am timeslot called “MokuDora 25”. Netflix will also be showing the series. As for its staff, they have confirmed that Ultraman GEED’s  Kouichi Sakamoto will be directing. He has previously worked with Hamada in Ultraman GEED. Meanwhile, Fuminori Kobayashi is serving as producer.

So far, they haven’t announced if Netflix will show the series overseas, but since this is Netflix we’re talking about, it’s also highly likely. We’ll have to wait for more details to surface, so stay tuned.
