The PlayStation Awards are one of the most prestigious awards in gaming. Now, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia (SCEJA) has revealed the winners via a live streaming event in Japan last November 30. They released the video in Japanese audio, however, it does also come with English subtitles for international viewers.

The winners include:

Double Platinum Prize (sold more than 2 million units in Asia): Minecraft

Platinum Prize (sold more than 2 million units in Asia):

  • Grand Theft Auto V
  • Final Fantasy XV
  • Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age

Gold Prize (sold more than 500,000 units in Asia):

  • Uncharted Collection
  • Rainbow Six Siege
  • FIFA 17
  • Battlefield 1
  • Call of Duty Infinite Warfare
  • Yakuza 6: The Song of Life
  • Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
  • Nioh
  • NieR: Automata
  • Horizon Zero Dawn
  • FIFA 18

PlayStation Network Award (Bestselling PlayStation Network games):

  • Phantasy Star Online 2
  • Rainbow Six Siege
  • FIFA 17

PlayStation VR Award (Bestselling PSVR games and apps)

  • Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
  • Farpoint
  • Summer Lesson: Allison Snow

Indie Games & Game Developers Award

  • Fushigi no Gensokyo TOD Reloaded
  • 3on3 FreeStyle
  • UNDERTALE

User’s Choice Award

  • Battlefield 1
  • Final Fantasy XV
  • Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
  • Nioh
  • NieR: Automata

Of course, since this is the PlayStation Awards, they only gave awards for PS4 and PS Vita games. So yeah, don’t expect that Sony would include titles like Mario and Halo.
