Marvel has had a ton of exposure in Japan, and is even more popular than most anime and manga there. And with Thanos threatening the universe over at the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) by trying to complete the Infinity Gauntlet, it seems like their anime counterparts over in Japan are also returning. This is because Marvel Future Avengers is coming back for a second season.
Madhouse will once again be animating the new season, with Yuzo Sato also returning to direct. Meanwhile, Iron Man anime character designer, Takahiro Umehara, is also returning to do the character designs, while Dragon Ball Super’s Ryuu King is writing the scripts. The anime’s main cast are also returning for this new installment as well. The anime itself will premiere in Summer 2018.
Aside from Marvel anime like this one, the ever-expanding Comicbook juggernaut also has several Japanese video games, such as the Marvel vs. Capcom series. They also have several manga, such as Guardians of the Galaxy, and several notable mangaka, such as One Punch Man’s Yusuke Murata, are official Marvel artists.
