Suzuko Mimori, Sora Tokui, Mikoi Sasaki, and Izumi Kitta make up Milky Holmes, the seiyuu unit for the detective franchise, Milky Holmes. They are also one of the most popular and successful seiyuu groups out there, having international guestings under their belt, including visiting Singapore for Anime Festival Asia (AFA). Hey, we even interviewed them back in 2010! However, it seems that the foursome will be breaking up after almost 10 years together.
The group is currently holding their “Milky Holmes Road to Final” campaign, and will be breaking up after their final concert next year, in February. They will also be having a new event this June as part of that “Road to Final” campaign.
They debuted back in February 2009, which makes their final concert in Yokohama on February 2019 all the more fitting. This marks a decade since they debuted, and proves the longevity of their group… even though they’re still breaking up.
Meanwhile, Suzuko Mimori assured fans that they will all be smiling. In a tweet, she told everyone that they will still be smiling a year from now.
