Every spring in Japan, the locals and tourists gather for an annual sakura-viewing party. Now, Sozo is holding one, but not in Japan, but right here in Singapore! The Sakura Matsuri: Anime Garden will happen for two days, from 17th-18th March, at Supertree Grove.

Along with the sakura viewing, they will also feature celebrity cosplayers, popular anisong concerts, games, Japanese food booths and cultural programmes. The event is in conjunction with the annual blossoming of Sakura between March and April. Sozo will be announcing more details soon.

And speaking of sakura, Gardens by the Bay will also  hold its own Sakura viewing from 16th March until 8th April. The Flower Dome will also have a Sakura Matsuri Floral display as well. However, the Sakura Matsuri: Anime Garden will be having plenty of Japanese activities to go with the Sakura.
