Last year, a Seven Deadly Sins (no, not the sexy figure line from Hobby Japan) event announced that Nakaba Suzuki’s manga is getting its own anime movie. Now, the anime’s official website and twitter page have revealed new details about it. This includes a brand new teaser PV:

The website revealed that the movie’s official title is Gekijouban Nanatsu no Taizai Tenkuu no Torawarebito, or The Seven Deadly Sins the Movie: Prisoners of the Sky. It will feature a completely original story not found in the manga, and creator Nakaba Suzuki is writing the story himself. They also unveiled a brand new key visual for the upcoming movie:
A-1 Pictures will animate the movie, much like the TV anime, with Noriyuki Abe serving as chief director, while Yasuto Nishikata is directing. Its original story will follow Melodias and Hawk as they journey to the Sky Palace to try and get a rare ingredient known as the Sky Fish. However, its winged residents capture and imprison them. But then, trouble Brews as the Demon Clan’s Six Knights of Black arrive and cause trouble for the Sky Palace. Specifically, they’re trying to revive the monster which attacks it every 3,000 years.
