It looks like it’s not just Psycho-Pass that’s getting a new anime film, but Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress too! During Fuji TV’s “Plus Ultra Fuji TV Anime Lineup Presentation 2018” livestream event didn’t just announce a new Psycho-Pass movie trilogy, but also a new Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress anime movie. Titled Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress: Unato Kessen, the movie will take place six months after the events of the TV anime. In other words, this movie is a direct sequel to the original.
The livestream revealed that Tetsuro Araki is returning from the TV anime to direct this new anime movie. They also unveiled a brand new key visual for this new film project:

So far, they haven’t revealed any release date or story for the movie yet, or any other further details for that matter. But do expect the staff to reveal even more announcements on the days to come.
