After a successful international run at the global streaming service, Netflix, Sword Gai: The Animation is getting a sequel. According to the anime’s official website, Part II of the anime will be making its streaming premiere in summer 2018. They also unveiled a brand new key visual featuring new characters Shin Matoba and Himiko, as well as the Busoma entity.
Based on Toshiki Inoue, Osamu Kine, and Keita Amamiya’s Sword Gai manga, Sword Gai: The Animation premiered on Netflix last March 23. LandQ Studios produced the anime, alongside DLE Inc. and Production IG, with Takahiro Ikezoe directing.

A young man becomes host to a legendary infernal sword and, with the fate of humanity now in his arm, wields its demonic power against his enemies.
